Tour around Athens

Another picturesque area you can visit is Monastiraki, with its renowned flea market in Ifaistou Street and take a walk in the nearby Thiseion, with the temple of Theseus dominating the top of the hill in the Ancient Agora. You must not miss a visit to the National Garden (formerly Royal Garden), which was designed by Queen Amalia herself; the Zappeion Megaron and Kallimarmaro or the Panathenaic Stadium, which hosted the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. You can end your wonderful tour of Athens with a visit to Lycabettus Hill, take the cable car and enjoy the lovely view across the Attica Basin. You can finish your visit with coffee or lunch at the lovely restaurant you will find there.
