One of the major conferences in the taxi industry was held on the 27^th, 28^th and 29^th of October 2018 in Las Vegas, USA. This was the 100th anniversary of the event, which took place at the Caesar’s Palace, under the auspices of TLPA (Taxicab, Limousine and Paratransit Association). TAXIPLON was represented by A. Katsantonis, Chairman of the Company and Chief Executive Officer N. Nikolaou.

The conference hosted hundreds of delegates from the field of transport and taxi, mainly from North and Latin America as well as Europe. The main purpose of the conference was to present the most important issues concerning the industry, the challenges of the future and the technological developments that will prevail in the years to follow.

Participants had the opportunity to attend presentations by specialized analysts and market professionals on safety issues, autonomous movement and improvement of services provided both to drivers and transporters.

The last part of the event consisted of a large-scale trade show where participants had the opportunity to meet major car, software and technology suppliers.

TAXIPLON’s representatives had the opportunity to meet with professionals from the transport and taxi industry and to discuss prospect synergies that will lead to the company’s development as well as the adoption of advanced technology applications. We hope that we will soon be able to announce trade agreements reached at this event!
